My name is Karen J. Palevich and I create custom pieces for black-tie events.

All pieces are custom crafted by me, and every effort is made to make your vision of what each piece should look like, come to life.  My desire is to create something that will last you a lifetime, and that you will want to wear again and again. 

Blacktie Jewels are made to make you look and feel like royalty.  Only the highest quality materials are used, including Swarovski cyrstal, Swarovski crystal pearls, semi-precious and man-made stones.  Stringing materials used include:  fishwire, silk cord and various strengths of beading wires.  All clasps and earring wires are done in sterling silver, (14k and 18k gold, as well as 14k white gold can be used upon request).

Tailored to accomodate anyone's budget, prices range from $10.00 for a fishwire necklace with a sterling silver floating heart, to $300 for a 3-strand Swarovski crystal necklace.

Custom beading of wedding gowns and flowergirl dresses is also available.  Why not make your off-the-rack wedding gown one of a kind, with custom Swarovski crystal beading.  You can use the colors of your bridesmaid gowns or any variety of colors.  Take an inexpensive little girls dress, and let me embelish it with crystals or even glass beads to create a one of a kind flowergirl dress!  See the Beading Gown section for examples of my work.  See the Beading Gowns section for examples of my work.
